Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Snr Field Sales Representative in San Jose, California

Responsibility for working closely with experienced sales staff responsible for North America based customers. The Field Sales Representative will provide assistance to field sales staff in all aspects of the pre and post sales process in order to increase the efficiency and productivity of the field based sales organization. This position supports the required business and product metrics to meet the company sales goals and objectives.

Primary Tasks

  • Quote generation and Field Sales support required to internalize requirements and generate product quotations

  • Utilize SalesForce.Com to support field sales in managing pipelines of sales opportunities. Includes forecasting, opportunity management, contract management, and other activities managed in this application.

  • Includes interaction with customers, sales finance, field order management, and other internal Cadence personnel as required.

  • Maintenance Quote Coordination (where applicable)

  • Management of customer software licenses and debugging problems

  • Assistance in internal operations issues

  • Management of customer temporary licenses and supporting documentation

  • Management of customer non-disclosure agreements

  • Scheduling, management, and coordination of customer meetings including headquarters based events

Secondary Tasks:

  • Prospecting/cold calling

  • Demand creation event support

  • Event and Campaign demand creation/tracking

  • Customer organizational Identification and org chart development

  • Customer meeting scheduling

  • Account research and analysis

  • Coordination of training events.
