Job Title: Lead Software Engineer

Location: Bangalore

• Job Summary

This position requires supporting development, implementation and roll-out of custom layout automation solution in Virtuoso Studio. Specific job requirement involves

• Capturing and driving requirements for Custom/ Analog IC design implementation (placement & routing) in the Virtuoso platform, especially for advanced process technologies.

• Helping enable layout automation for foundries through close collaboration with all stakeholders

• Building reference flows to demonstrate layout automation solutions for foundries

  Job Requirements

• Strong IC design knowledge especially in the custom domain (front to back), along with knowledge of advanced process technologies

• Good programming knowledge to develop utilities for customer specific needs when a solution is not readily available in the software, along with debugging and analytical skills

• Strong written, verbal and communication skills to present and demonstrate solution to customers and to generate necessary documentation and collateral

• Ability to work effectively across functions and geographies to interface with R&D and customer

• Ability to explore and innovate to address challenging problems

• Qualification and Experience

• ME/MS/MTech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in IC design and/ or EDA tool development
