Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Solutions Group Director in Austin, Texas

The qualified candidate must have demonstrated leadership with successful tapeouts in the field of static timing analysis, hands-on expertise with tool, flow, & methodology. Adjacency domain knowledge about library characterization and spice modeling is critical to be successful in this role.

In addition to leading Cadence product solution evaluation and deployment at customer, this role requires close interface with R&D, Product engineering and other members of solution team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead customer engagement for Cadence signoff product (timing, eco & iR)

• Manage a team (including matrix management) and work with R&D and Product engineering

• Track and drive customer issues for closure

• Develop regression & benchmark system and own deployment checks

Requirements:

• 15+ years of industry related experience in timing signoff, eco and iR

• Subject domain expert in static timing analysis

• Hands-on experience with industry standard timing & emir tools

• Strong fundamental with statistical analysis & modelling

• Strong inter-personal and communication skills

• Experience with industry standard characterization tools is a plus

• Exposure to advance process node extraction methofolgies and metal/pg fill methdologies is a plus

• Exposure to 2.5/3D IC design flow is a plus
